About the Program
The Akwa Ibom State Bursary Program is a flagship educational initiative of the Pastor Umo Eno-led administration, designed to provide direct financial support to students of Akwa Ibom origin studying in public tertiary institutions across Nigeria. This is not just about disbursing funds. It's about investing in human capital, reducing the burden on families, and building a generation of educated, empowered citizens who will drive Akwa Ibom's continued growth and prosperity.
“If I can get one Akwa Ibom child motivated through our educational initiatives, I would have succeeded. Human capital development and the benefits for Akwa Ibom children outweigh any cost.”
